Re-Inventing Government

Deputy Richard Bruton T.D. addressed this meeting which was attended by 37 members. The meeting was just prior to the February election and the Association had been asked to provide feedback on the Fine Gael position paper ‘Re-inventing Government’ which had a major focus on Agencies. The event was used to provide Deputy Bruton with some angles and perspectives on the document and was an excellent opportunity to get the views of Agencies direct to a prospective Minister
Deputy Bruton presented an opportunity/vision that was at the time a possible solution to a unique set of circumstances. If successfully implemented, it could demonstrate internationally what we can collectively achieve and put Ireland forward as a case study of what is possible in terms of transformation.
