Agency Contribution to the DOELG’s Strategy 2015-2017
On 30 April, 28 members attended a breakfast briefing addressed by John McCarthy, Secretary General, Department of the Environment and Local Government. The briefing focused on insights into the relationships between the DOELG and the agencies under its auspices. Members found the presentation provided particular insights in terms of communication, accountability and formal/informal relationships. It was noted that there is plenty of commonality across agencies, though some of the comments from the floor about different experiences with other Departments did not concur.
