OECD Review of the Irish Public Service: Towards an Integrated Public Service
The long-awaited OECD Report ‘ Ireland – Towards an Integrated Public Service’ was published on 28th April and launched at a ceremony in Dublin Castle. You can download the full report by clicking here .

Politics, Politicians and how Parliament functions
The second briefing in the current series took place in the Westbury Hotel on 8th April, when the Ceann Comhairle John O’Donohue addressed a group of 23 CEOs on the topic of Politics, Politicians and How Parliament Functions . A question was asked from the floor about how members can inform themselves about what’s on the Oireachtas sub-committee agenda. In this regard, you might be interested in looking at the IPA’s Public Policy Bulletin , which has a section entitled ‘The Oireachtas This Week’. The link here takes you to the current issue, and you can subscribe to the bulletin from there if you so wish. This is a free service.

Current Research into State Agencies

The first in the current series took place in the Westbury Hotel on 27th February. The presentation, given by by Dr Muiris MacCarthaigh of the IPA, is available for download here.
